We found a steal of a deal in a 42" television and we were too excited to get rid of our old box television! We could not resist. Plus, we figured that having a lighter, doesn't-take-up-too-much-space tv would help create some more space in our home as well as make any possible future moves easier as well.
Needless to say it was so hard to have such a mess during Thanksgiving preparations. I started to think that it would not be all sorted by the time our guests arrived and food was ready to be served. Not to mention our little into-everything-little-boy so generously added to the mix. Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Beau were all preoccupied doing other things and were guilty of child neglect on Thanksgiving Day :) Luckily Jaybe forgives easily.
Austin started to build the tv stand on his own and I guess didn't have a good hold on two pieces he was connecting and the connector pieces completely ripped through the wood and wasn't fixable, to say the least. So he had to make two trips to IKEA in one day. That just added to the mix of busy-ness for the day.
I will spare you the pictures of our place during Thanksgiving day! Trust me, it was bad!
Yes, we were in a mess; dishes (EH!), building, cooking, Jairus running around like a wild animal, stuff everywhere. Fun.
Regardless....everything turned out PERFECT!

On the table we served, stuffed tofurkey, pumpkin soup, seasoned mashed potatoes with a bragg's aminos gravy, green bean casserole, olives, rolls, maple glazed carrots, mandarin oranges, and apple cider as the beverage choice.
Chocolate pudding with a graham cracker crust. Topped with rice whipped cream and a sliced 'nana! mmmm good!
Vanilla pudding with graham cracker crust. Topped with rice whipped cream and sliced banana. This was my favorite :)
The boys even had their own gathering spot. It was darling to see them over there eating like big boys at their very own table!
